I always liked the idea of being able to list your goals and check them off simply. Travelling to Paris has been an exercise in my putting things off. I wanted a list of things to bring to Paris, a list of activities when I am in Paris, a list of activities when I am in London, and a list just because I can make one.
Too much pressure for a vacation. How can I live up to a Paris vacation without coming home and finding out I missed the best * in France? I am not going to crumble to the pressure! I WILL NOT MAKE A LIST!
We will do things off the cuff...which is not what Fodor, Eyewitness Travel or others recommend.I feel like burning the guides I bought because they point out so many things that you would have to live in Paris for years to see it all. Guides generally intimidate and show how inadequate I am when it comes to touring a place like Paris.
Anyway.....I am taking suggestions if someone knows items that I cannot miss while in Paris. We shall see how this plan...or lack of plan will work out.....
